These calculators are pre-filled with Bitcoin (BTC): tick value $25, tick size 5, exchange initial margin $97,066.20 for the front contract. You can switch any calculator to another contract with its contract menu.
The position-size calculator works backwards from the amount you are prepared to lose: your risk amount divided by the loss per contract at your stop, rounded down so the result never exceeds your risk. If your account is in pounds or euros it converts at the European Central Bank's daily reference rate, which will differ slightly from your broker's rate. The profit and loss calculator snaps the price difference to whole ticks.
The prop-firm calculator applies a firm's published limits: it takes the smaller of the daily loss limit and the trailing drawdown, divides it by the number of full stop-outs you want to survive, and caps the result at the firm's contract limit for the account size. All results exclude commissions, fees and slippage, and are arithmetic, not advice. Each calculator can be embedded on another site with the snippet beneath it.
